Graphic Designer

We are looking for a Graphic Designer to support the creation of a visually compelling coffee table book. This is a Contract position suited for a publication-focused designer who can transform approved concepts into refined, print-ready layouts using Adobe InDesign. The ideal candidate brings strong editorial design judgment, works confidently with typography and imagery, and can deliver high-quality work within a fast-paced production schedule.
Responsibilities:
• Translate approved Figma concepts into fully built Adobe InDesign files optimized for publication production.
• Refine page composition by adjusting typography, visual elements, and image placement to achieve a cohesive editorial presentation.
• Establish and apply paragraph, character, and object styles to ensure consistency across the entire book.
• Prepare final layout files to meet print specifications, including accuracy, organization, and production readiness.
• Partner with marketing stakeholders and creative leads to align design execution with project goals and brand expectations.
• Manage multiple rounds of revisions efficiently while maintaining quality and meeting tight delivery timelines.

• Demonstrated experience designing books, magazines, catalogs, or other long-form print publications.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign within the Adobe Creative Cloud environment.
• Working knowledge of Figma and the ability to translate digital design files into print layouts.
• Strong command of typography, grid systems, image handling, and editorial page design.
• Solid understanding of print production standards and file preparation best practices.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and deliver assignments on schedule.
• Proficiency with related design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is preferred.
