Warehouse Manager

The Site Manager is responsible for the overall administration of the safety guidelines for the job site and managing the team. This individual is to be a safety leader as well as oversees the overall operation. Work closely and with the customer to ensure their safety standards are met.
Days and Shift Information
Full-time, Monday through Friday.
Standard business hours, with flexibility to support operational needs, project implementations, and site requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Leadership and Team Development- Perform all duties and responsibilities of a Safety Representative.
Safety, Regulatory Compliance, and Risk Management- Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with applicable safety policies, company procedures, and local and regional regulations.
Training, Communication, and Safety Documentation- Develop and deliver appropriate safety training and educational programs for employees.
Warehouse Safety and Continuous Improvement- Identify warehouse deficiencies, develop corrective action plans, and oversee implementation to address identified issues.
Financial and Business Performance- Oversee the operation’s profit and loss (P&L) performance and manage activities in accordance with the approved budget.
Work Environment
Primarily operates in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
Regularly exposed to warehouse operations, equipment, and potential workplace safety hazards.
Requires frequent interaction with employees, operations leadership, customers, and other stakeholders.
Requires the ability to inspect work areas, evaluate working conditions, identify safety deficiencies, and oversee corrective actions.
May require walking or standing for extended periods and accessing various areas of the warehouse to conduct safety inspections.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Management, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
Experience
Three to five years of combined experience in safety management, operations management, or similar roles, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Experience with warehouse operations, logistics processes, and applicable safety regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems and logistics software.
Knowledge of workplace safety programs, hazard identification, risk assessment, incident prevention, and regulatory compliance.
Safety certifications such as CSP, ASP, OSHT, or CIH preferred. (CSP was listed twice in the original requirements and is included once here.)
OSHA 30-hour certification, CPR, and First Aid training preferred.
Experience with operational budgeting and P&L management preferred.
