Group Chief Accountant

Position Overview
We are looking for a Group Chief Accountant, who will play a key role in overseeing the full spectrum of accounting/tax operations ensuring compliance, leading audits and providing strategic financial insights to senior management.
Lead day-to-day accounting and tax operations across all Group companies, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including the consolidation of financial statements
Ensure compliance with applicable IFRS, local GAAP and myDATA requirements.
Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities and regulatory bodies.
Oversee warehouse operations and ensure effective inventory management and control.
Follow up affiliate companies abroad
Ownership of Group Transfer Pricing file, ensuring proper coordination and compliance with applicable requirements
Mentor, develop and support accounting team members, fostering professional growth and operational excellence
Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic planning and business decision-making
Requirements
10+ years of experience in accounting, taxation and finance, including experience in a Chief Accountant or similar senior role
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. CPA or equivalent professional qualification is considered an asset
Strong knowledge of IFRS, applicable GAAP and tax regulations
Good knowledge of MS Dynamics NAV
Excellent leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail, integrity and a high level of professionalism
