Industrial Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician oversees the upkeep of manufacturing equipment and with their extensive experience in industrial electrical troubleshooting, they will repair and maintain the electrical and mechanical machinery throughout the facility. 2nd Shift 1-2pm to 10:00pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Proficient in testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits using devices like ohmmeters and voltmeters for system compatibility and safety.
Capable of assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical equipment.
Responsible for facility maintenance, covering lights, HVAC, electrical lines, outlets, and plumbing needs.
Demonstrates mechanical knowledge for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic, and gas-fired ovens.
Safely operates mobile equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and JLG-type equipment.
Physically capable of working from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs for electrical wiring, equipment, and fixture installations, maintenance, or repairs.
Collaborates in a team of skilled trade workers for installation and maintenance projects.
Adheres to safety policies, including proficiency in LOCK out TAG and confined space procedures.
Conducts preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability.
Communicates effectively with all departments to coordinate maintenance activities and address issues promptly.
Promptly responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.
Flexibility in work schedule, including potential weekend and after-hours assignments.
Requirements:
Four (4) years of progressively responsible journey level electrical experience; or completion of a four-year approved technical training program in electrical repair and maintenance and two (2) years electrical experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
