Role Description
The Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that support business operations and meet user requirements. The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into practical technical solutions and support continuous product improvement.
Software development responsibilities include analyzing system requirements, designing application components, writing clean and maintainable code, and implementing software features according to project specifications. The engineer works with appropriate programming languages, frameworks, libraries, and development tools to build applications for different platforms. Qualifications
Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Understanding of software development principles, algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, C++, or other relevant technologies.
Familiarity with software development frameworks, libraries, APIs, and application integration methods.
Understanding of relational or non-relational databases, data modeling, and database query fundamentals.
Knowledge of software testing, debugging, code reviews, and quality assurance practices.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows.
