Role Description The Delivery Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for overseeing end-to-end delivery of client engagements across global operations and transformation programs. The role includes leading program and project execution, ensuring delivery quality, timelines, and budgets are met, and aligning outcomes with client objectives. The Delivery Director will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with client stakeholders, and provide strategic guidance on process transformation, transition management, and operations setup. Day-to-day responsibilities involve defining delivery frameworks, tracking progress through robust governance mechanisms, resolving risks and issues, and driving continuous improvement across engagements. This role also contributes to solution design, supports business development with delivery insights, and mentors delivery leads and managers to build a high-performance culture.
Qualifications
Strong Program Management and Project Management skills, including experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
Proficient Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess delivery performance, and make evidence-based decisions.
Proven Team Management capabilities, with experience building, coaching, and retaining high-performing delivery teams.
Consulting experience, with the ability to engage senior clients, understand business needs, and shape delivery solutions.
Extensive experience in global operations, shared services, or captive centers, ideally within IT, product engineering, or back-office functions.
Demonstrated ability to establish and run governance frameworks, manage risk, and ensure compliance with organizational and client standards.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work effectively with international clients and cross-cultural teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; a postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
Prior leadership experience in delivery or operations roles at a consulting firm, GCC/captive center, or shared services organization.
