Graphic Designer

About the role
HRS Systems is looking for a contract graphic designer with traditional design skills to produce ads and marketing graphics for HASS Cloud, our cloud platform for fire sprinkler system design. AI tools are fine for roughing out a quick concept, but the finished work needs to come from your own skill with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite. The work is hourly at $35 to $55 an hour, usually 15 to 40 hours a month depending on what campaigns are running.
We plan our campaigns and write our copy in-house, so what we need is someone who can take a brief, turn it into finished work that looks professional, and tell us when a layout, crop, or type choice could be better.

HRS Systems is a leading provider of software for fire protection engineering. Our flagship product, HASS Cloud, is trusted worldwide for the hydraulic analysis of water-based suppression systems.
What you'll work on
- Static graphics for social media ads and posts
- 3D or illustrated visuals built from product shots of the software
- Email graphics
- Short motion graphics and video ads
- Print and trade show materials, such as booth graphics and flyers
What we're looking for
- Strong skills in design and motion software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects
- Comfortable working from a brief and copy someone else wrote, and asking questions before you start when something isn't clear
- Based in the United States, available for 1-2 weekly calls during typical US business hours, and quick to respond on Slack
We'll judge your work by your portfolio rather than by years of experience.
