Role Description The Director of Corporate Decision-Making is a full-time remote role responsible for leading strategic decision processes across Nordic Investment’s diversified portfolio. This role oversees the evaluation of investment opportunities, portfolio performance, and corporate initiatives, ensuring that decisions align with the company’s long-term vision, ESG commitments, and risk appetite. Day-to-day responsibilities include structuring and facilitating executive-level decision meetings, synthesizing complex financial, operational, and market data into actionable insights, and developing decision frameworks and governance standards. The director collaborates closely with senior leadership, investment teams, and operating partners to prioritize initiatives, resolve cross-functional issues, and track outcomes of key decisions. This role also drives continuous improvement in decision-making tools, analytics, and communication practices to support transparent, well-informed, and timely corporate decisions.
Qualifications
Strong strategic thinking and corporate governance skills, with experience designing and managing decision-making frameworks and processes.
Advanced analytical and financial acumen, including the ability to interpret investment cases, portfolio metrics, and market data for executive decisions.
Proven experience in stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and influencing senior leaders in complex organizational environments.
Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills for distilling complex information into clear recommendations and decision options.
Background in investment management, private equity, corporate strategy, or management consulting, preferably with exposure to multiple sectors.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote, globally distributed team and manage time-sensitive decisions across different time zones.
Commitment to ESG principles and responsible investing, with familiarity in integrating sustainability considerations into corporate decisions.
Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred; substantial relevant experience may be considered in lieu of advanced degree.
Track record of leading high-impact initiatives, implementing decision-support tools or dashboards, and driving measurable business outcomes.
