Role Description The Vice President of Customer Data is a full-time remote role responsible for defining and executing the enterprise-wide customer data strategy across Nordic Investment’s diverse portfolio. This role oversees the design, governance, and optimization of customer data platforms, ensuring high-quality, secure, and actionable data for investment decisions and portfolio operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with business leaders and technology teams to align data initiatives with strategic objectives, leading data-related projects, and establishing standards for data collection, integration, and analytics. The Vice President will guide the development of data-driven customer insights, support digital transformation efforts, and champion best practices in data privacy, compliance, and ethical use of data. The role also includes mentoring cross-functional teams, managing vendor relationships, and continuously improving processes to enhance customer understanding and portfolio performance.
Qualifications
Strong Information Technology and IT Management skills to oversee customer data platforms, systems, and related infrastructure.
Expertise in IT Strategy and Strategic Planning to align customer data initiatives with business goals and portfolio growth.
Demonstrated Project Management capabilities to lead complex, cross-functional data projects from concept to delivery.
Proven leadership experience in customer data, data governance, or analytics within investment, financial services, or related sectors.
Advanced understanding of data architecture, data quality, privacy regulations, and ESG-related data considerations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to communicate complex data topics clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in geographically distributed, remote teams and collaborating across cultures and time zones.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field; a master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
