Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Design Engineer role based in Mumbai. The Electrical Design Engineer will develop detailed electrical designs and layouts for industrial and commercial projects, including power distribution systems, lighting, and control systems. Responsibilities include preparing drawings and schematics, performing load calculations, selecting equipment, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. The role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams, communicating with clients and vendors, supporting project execution from concept to commissioning, and resolving technical issues during design and implementation. The engineer will also assist in cost estimation, documentation, and continuous improvement of design practices and templates.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Design and Design Engineering for industrial and commercial projects.
Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Electricity fundamentals, including standards and safety practices.
Candidates should possess expertise in Power Distribution systems, including load calculations, panel design, and equipment selection.
Candidates should possess proficiency in CAD tools and relevant electrical design software used for layouts, schematics, and documentation.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline; postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
Experience in industrial projects within sectors such as chemical, pharmaceutical, FMCG, or healthcare is beneficial.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to interpret technical specifications and standards.
