About the Role
Jacob & Co. is seeking a talented, versatile, and highly skilled Visual Designer to join our creative team. We are looking for a multidisciplinary designer with strong artistic vision, technical expertise, and the ability to work across a wide range of creative disciplines.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable with traditional drawing, digital design, 3D modeling, and high-end visualization, with a strong understanding of luxury jewelry and watchmaking. Working closely with our Design Director and Design Team, you will contribute to the development and execution of innovative designs that reflect Jacob & Co.'s commitment to creativity, craftsmanship, and exceptional quality.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate directly with the Design Director and Design Team on a variety of creative and technical projects.
Develop concepts and designs through hand sketching, digital illustration, and technical drawing.
Create detailed 3D models, digital sculptures, and high-quality renderings.
Contribute to jewelry and timepiece design, from initial concepts to advanced visualization.
Produce visual assets for presentations, advertising, and other creative initiatives.
Perform photo manipulation, graphic design, and image editing as required.
Proactively contribute creative ideas and propose solutions to improve design quality and workflow efficiency.
Manage multiple projects while maintaining high standards of accuracy, quality, and attention to detail.
Meet established project deadlines and deliverables.
Qualifications & Requirements
Technical Expertise
Strong proficiency in traditional hand drawing, digital illustration, and 3D design.
Experience in jewelry design, watch design, rendering, and visualization.
Solid knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, precious metals, watch movements, and mechanical components.
Ability to understand technical design requirements and translate creative concepts into detailed visual representations.
Software Proficiency
Advanced proficiency in the following software categories is essential:
3D Design & Rendering: Experience with applications such as Cinema 4D, Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush, KeyShot, or Rhino.
Adobe Creative Suite: Strong proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
AI-assisted design tools may be used to support the creative process. However, candidates must demonstrate independent proficiency in traditional and digital design software without relying on AI-generated outputs.

Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, positive attitude.
Self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of independently identifying solutions.
Technically adaptable, with the ability to learn new software and design tools efficiently.

Working Hours
Minimum commitment of 40 hours per week.
Working shifts to be arranged within the 9:00 AM–9:00 PM Eastern Time window.
Flexible schedules may be considered depending on individual circumstances and business requirements.
