Job Title: Social Media & Video Content Strategist (Performance-Driven Creator)
Company Name: Knowfinity Academy LLP
Location: RR Nagar, Bangalore
Work Mode: On-site (Monday–Friday) | Hybrid flexibility on Saturdays (Work from Home option)
Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Weekly Off: Sunday
About The Role
Knowfinity Academy LLP is seeking a dynamic Social Media & Video Content Strategist to drive high-impact, performance-oriented content across digital platforms. This role goes beyond traditional content creation — you’ll be responsible for end-to-end development of scroll-stopping, engagement-driven video content that supports brand growth, lead generation, and conversion goals.
You’ll collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to align content strategy with business KPIs, leveraging data insights, platform trends, and audience behavior to continuously optimize performance. If you thrive in a metrics-driven environment and excel at turning creative ideas into measurable results, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Ideation: Conduct trend analysis, audience research, and competitor benchmarking to develop platform-specific content strategies for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
Scriptwriting & Storytelling: Craft compelling, hook-first scripts for organic posts, UGC-style videos, founder-led content, and paid ad campaigns optimized for retention, CTR, and conversion.
Production & Direction: Plan, shoot, and direct high-quality video content (talking heads, demos, testimonials, product highlights) using DSLR/mirrorless cameras or mobile setups.
Editing & Post-Production: Edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut; integrate subtitles, motion graphics, sound design, and platform-specific formatting (aspect ratios, captions, pacing).
Performance Marketing Creatives: Build A/B testable ad creatives for Meta, Google, and LinkedIn Ads aligned with campaign objectives (lead gen, app installs, course enrollments).
Analytics & Optimization: Track engagement metrics (views, retention, CTR, conversions), run experiments (hooks, CTAs, formats), and iterate based on data-driven insights.
Content Calendar & Workflow Management: Maintain and execute a weekly content roadmap, ensuring timely delivery and consistency across all channels.
Collaboration: Partner with growth marketers, designers, and instructors to ensure brand consistency and strategic alignment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience creating scroll-stopping video content for Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn (portfolio required).
Strong scriptwriting skills — especially for short-form, high-retention formats (0–3 sec hooks, clear CTAs).
Hands-on proficiency in video shooting (lighting, framing, audio) and editing (cutting, color grading, motion graphics).
Experience optimizing content for performance marketing (lead gen, conversions, ROAS).
Familiarity with analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, YouTube Analytics, Google Analytics) to measure and improve performance.
Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and adapt quickly to feedback.
Strong communication skills and openness to iterative feedback.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience creating UGC-style or founder-led video content for ed-tech or online learning brands.
Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop, or Figma) for social posts, overlays, and ad creatives.
Familiarity with AI tools for script ideation, voiceovers, or automated editing (e.g., Pictory, InVideo, Runway).
Understanding of funnel-based content strategy (awareness → consideration → conversion).
Knowledge of SEO best practices for video titles, descriptions, and hashtags.
Ideal Candidate Profile
You’re a hybrid creator part storyteller, part strategist, part data analyst. You don’t just make videos; you engineer them for performance. You’re obsessed with trends but grounded in results, and you treat every piece of content as a testable hypothesis. You’re comfortable iterating rapidly, owning outcomes (not just outputs), and working in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
Application Requirements
Please submit your updated resume, along with a portfolio or links to 3–5 representative video projects (including metrics/results if available). Highlight any campaigns where your content directly contributed to lead generation, engagement lift, or conversion improvement.
