Summary: The IT Network Engineer is responsible for connecting PHC with its growing network of clinics, as well as administrative sites, remote (AWS) data centers, local data centers, 3rd party vendors and partners to provide excellent patient care to all our patients. The IT Network Engineer designs, maintains, and ensures our network is secure and reliable by adhering to organizational values and industry standards and works closely within the IT Systems Administration team.
Areas of Responsibility:
Networking Engineering and Provisioning:
Engage with Network vendors, review invoices & contracts, recommend system improvements and processes, in-line with established business goals
Design and install new / rebuild existing network equipment and configure switches, routers, wireless, WebEx calling, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
Contribute to and maintain network standards
Research innovative, and where possible automated approaches for networking tasks
