About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Sr. IT Recruiter/ Lead Recruiter – US Staffing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience recruiting for W2 permanent positions, particularly for banking/financial services clients.
If you understand the US IT staffing market, know how to identify quality technical talent, and can work closely with hiring managers and candidates to close positions efficiently, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for US IT positions, from sourcing to offer acceptance.
Source and recruit candidates for W2 permanent/direct-hire opportunities.
Handle requirements primarily for banking and financial services clients.
Understand technical requirements and translate them into effective sourcing strategies.
Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, ATS, and other recruiting channels.
Screen candidates based on technical skills, experience, communication, location, work authorization, and overall fit.
Conduct initial candidate interviews and present qualified profiles to clients/hiring managers.
Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified IT professionals for current and upcoming requirements.
Coordinate interviews, collect feedback, negotiate offers, and drive candidates through the hiring process.
Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
Ensure accurate and timely updates in the ATS/recruitment database.
Meet individual and team recruitment targets while maintaining a high standard of candidate quality.
Required Skills & Experience
6+ years of experience in US IT Staffing/Recruitment.
Proven experience working on W2 permanent/direct-hire positions.
Prior experience recruiting for Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, or similar clients is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of the US IT recruitment process and hiring market.
Experience recruiting for technical roles such as Software Engineers, Java/Python Developers, Cloud/DevOps Engineers, Data Engineers, QA, Business Analysts, etc.
Strong sourcing and candidate-screening skills.
Excellent understanding of Boolean search and LinkedIn sourcing.
Strong communication, negotiation, and candidate-management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple requirements simultaneously.
Comfortable working in a US shift/time-zone environment.
