Chemical Handler

Responsibilities:
Coordinate physical raw material movements between the warehouse and production to support the production schedule.
Pick, prepare, weigh, and label chemical raw materials accurately for production, following batch sheets and material requests.
Maintain inventory accuracy through raw material and packaging cycle counts and timely SAP transactions for counts and stock transfers.
Organize and consolidate raw materials in warehouse racks to support efficient inventory control.
Collect raw material samples for laboratory testing and collaborate with lab personnel during tanker unloading.
Handle chemicals and operate equipment in accordance with safety procedures, required PPE, and process documentation; maintain warehouse cleanliness and 5S standards.
Qualifications:
Physical Requirements: able to lift and maneuver up to 55 lbs. on a regular basis, operate a forklift, wear a respirator, and handle chemicals.
3-5 years of warehouse/distribution experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
Proficiency in PC skills, including Microsoft Office, RF scanner, and SAP experience.
Hazard Communication Training preferred.
Commitment to safety: strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
