Location: Tempe, AZ | In-Office
Salary: $75,000 - $100,000, dependent on experience
A well-established General Contracting Company specializing in commercial and industrial construction specifically in Hotel Construction / Renovation. With safety as a core value, they are committed to maintaining the highest standards on every project.
They are currently seeking a dedicated safety professional to join their office in Tempe, Arizona as a Safety Coordinator/Safety Manager . The ideal candidate will oversee workplace health and safety, ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies, and cultivate a culture of safety across all job sites.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs and procedures.
Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Provide training, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety education for employees and subcontractors.
Investigate incidents/accidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
Stay current with OSHA regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to integrate safety into all operations.
Qualifications:
3+ years of safety experience in the construction industry.
Knowledge of OSHA standards and state/local safety regulations.
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
First Aid/CPR certification preferred not required.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to communicate at all levels.
Ability to travel between project sites throughout Arizona and the Southwest.
