Prepare work sites by clearing debris, levelling terrain and excavating, and safely load and unload materials as required.
Maintain accurate daily records of equipment use, fuel and maintenance.
Follow all site and equipment safety requirements, promptly reporting hazards, defects or equipment malfunctions.
Work collaboratively with site teams while being able to take responsibility and work independently when required.
Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients, colleagues and other site personnel.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
High school diploma with previous experience operating heavy equipment within construction or a related environment.
Strong understanding of equipment safety, inspections and routine maintenance.
A dependable, safety-conscious individual who takes ownership, follows instructions and looks after equipment.
Physical ability to work outdoors, remain on your feet for extended periods and lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
