Role Description
We are seeking an independent consultant with hands-on experience administering and customizing open-source document management systems (DMS) to provide ongoing technical support and maintenance. The consultant will work directly with our project team to implement system updates, maintain configurations and workflows, resolve service issues, produce technical documentation, and support knowledge transfer. This is a 100% remote opportunity.
Required
Open-Source DMS — hands-on experience with one or more open-source document management systems such as Mayan EDMS, Alfresco Community, OpenKM, LogicalDOC, or Paperless-ngx including configuration, administration, workflow setup, and customization
Python / Django
Experience supporting technology projects as a consultant
Strong written communication skills; ability to produce professional documentation and status reports
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and to meet firm delivery deadlines
Familiarity with Git-based version control and maintaining a code repository
Based in the US
