Maintenance Assistant

The Cheddi Jagan International Airport Corporation (CJIA) is inviting suitably qualified and motivated individuals to apply for the position of Maintenance Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with general maintenance tasks across the airport premises
Support routine inspections, minor repairs, and upkeep of facilities
Work collaboratively with the Maintenance and Operations teams
Respond promptly to assigned maintenance requests or tasks
Ensure tools and equipment are properly used and maintained
Requirements:
Must be physically able-bodied and capable of performing manual tasks
Possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team spirit
Completed secondary school education
Basic computer literacy would be considered an asset
Prior experience in general maintenance or related work would be advantageous
Other Attributes:
Punctual, reliable, and respectful in the workplace
Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required
