Manufacturing Operator

POSITION SUMMARY
The successful candidate will participate in the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products and operate machinery and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Minimum Requirement
Five (5) CSEC subjects including English Language, Mathematics and at least one science subject,
Three (3) years’ experience in a similar position or environment,
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Natural Science, Pharmacology or a related discipline would be an advantage
Required Skills, Behaviour and Competencies
Sound knowledge of product handling and current Good Manufacturing Practices
Knowledge of processing techniques and production processes
Proficiency in the use of computer software applications including Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
High level of integrity and confidentiality
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong time management skills
Good dexterity and vision
Ability to operate production equipment
Initiative, Problem solving & decision-making skills
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment.
Special Conditions:
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves standing, walking, and lifting raw materials.
The incumbent will also be involved in carrying, pushing and pulling.
