Active Learning Centers is looking for an enthusiastic, caring, and dependable School Age Teacher to join our Before & After School Program!

🎉 What You'll Do
As a School Age Teacher, you'll help make the beginning and end of each child's day something they look forward to!
You'll:
Build positive relationships with school-age children and get to know what makes each child unique
Create fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities that keep kids excited to participate
Encourage teamwork, friendship, leadership, and respect
Help children navigate challenges, emotions, and social situations with patience and confidence
Provide opportunities for children to be active, creative, and independent
Support homework, reading, games, crafts, outdoor play, and other enrichment activities
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
Communicate professionally with families and provide excellent customer service
Work collaboratively with other teachers and center leadership
Follow all health, safety, and supervision guidelines

⏰ Position Details
Part-Time School Age Teacher
Available shifts include:
Before School: 6:30 AM – 9:00 AM
After School: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Or both!
Start Date: As soon as you're ready!
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a part-time schedule that works well around school, another job, or other commitments.
✅ What You'll Need
High School Diploma or GED
Must be at least 18 years old
Successful completion of required background clearances
Previous experience working with school-age children is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person
A positive attitude and a genuine desire to make a difference!
