Senior Python Backend Engineer – AI Evaluation, Contract (Remote)

Remote contract for senior Python engineers: build and review the pipelines and rubrics frontier AI research teams use to judge AI-written code. You'll review model outputs with a high bar, catch subtle bugs, and turn that judgment into clear write-ups and evaluation tooling.
Pay: $60–90/hr depending on experience
Hours: 20–40 hrs/week (at least 4 hrs/day), about 3 months, starts within 1–2 weeks
Location: remote, US or Canada, 4 hours/day overlap with US Pacific time (evenings ET work)
Required:
- 5+ years of professional Python, ideally building data pipelines or backend infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with preference data, rubric creation, or AI/LLM evaluation
- Strong written communication
- An up-to-date LinkedIn profile
Strongly preferred: experience at top-tier tech companies and/or a top university.
