Student Consultant

Who are we?
Altaïr Strategy is a student-led consultancy founded at Bocconi University. We advise startups and early-stage businesses on three things: entering new markets, finding the right customers, and building a strategy that works on a small budget. Every project is for a real client who uses our recommendations.
What is the opportunity?
You will join a small team on an 8-week project for a live client. You will take part in the work itself: researching markets, analysing competitors, building recommendations and presenting them to the client. You will have direct contact with founders, which is rare this early in a career, and you will see how a consulting engagement runs from kickoff to final deliverable.
What would you do?
Research markets, customers and competitors for early-stage companies
Help shape market entry, marketing and strategy recommendations
Turn open-ended questions into testable hypotheses and clear conclusions
Join client calls and present part of the final deliverable
Check in regularly with the team and build on their feedback
What do you get out of it?
A first-hand view of how a consulting project works, with real client exposure
Regular, specific feedback on your thinking and communication
A letter of recommendation once you complete the project successfully
A path to Project Manager at Altaïr Strategy if you perform well
Who are we looking for?
Current students at a leading university or business school in Europe
Confident English, written and spoken
Experience is welcome but not required: case competitions, societies, internships or your own ventures all count

This is a voluntary learning project. It is not an internship, it is unpaid and it does not come with an employment contract. It is built around your studies, with a workload that stays manageable alongside your academic commitments.
