Project Analyst

Positions: Project Analyst
Location: Fully remote working core PT hours
Duration: 1 year contract, 2.5 year tenure limit
Project: Consumer Electronics, hardware team
Compensation: $45-55/hour
Project: Forecasting and analysis for hardware/consumer electronics teams
Desired Experience
4+ years of hands-on experience in spend tracking, budgeting and forecasting, and capacity or resource analysis, ideally supporting an engineering, hardware, R&D, or manufacturing organization.
Practical background in prompt engineering, AI agent development, or workflow automation tooling.
Advanced spreadsheet skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and large-workbook modeling, with a demonstrated ability to build reporting that others rely on.
Proven ability to present financial analysis to senior non-finance stakeholders.
Process improvement with AI — practical prompt engineering experience and the ability to think beyond prompting to improve business processes end to end.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
This role supports engineering teams across the full budget lifecycle — planning, forecasting, accruals, and reporting. The coordinator serves as a trusted point of contact for budget owners, partners closely with Procurement, Sourcing, Accounts Payable, and program management, and builds the recurring reporting and automation that the organization relies on.
