MEP Manager

Role Description The MEP Manager is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design and coordination for the Commission’s projects. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing MEP drawings and specifications, ensuring design alignment with project requirements, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders such as architects, engineers, and contractors. The role involves monitoring MEP-related project milestones, supporting procurement decisions for MEP materials and equipment, and resolving technical issues that arise during the design and implementation phases. The MEP Manager will also contribute to quality assurance, compliance with relevant standards, and continuous improvement of MEP processes and guidelines for projects implemented across different regions.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, including MEP Design.
Candidates should possess skills in MEP Coordination to align multidisciplinary design inputs and project requirements.
Candidates should possess skills in Plumbing system design and integration within broader MEP frameworks.
Candidates should possess skills in Procurement related to MEP materials, equipment, and services.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, or a closely related field.
Experience managing MEP scope on building or infrastructure projects, preferably in international or multi-site contexts.
Familiarity with applicable building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices for MEP systems.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time workloads effectively, and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency with MEP design and coordination software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools) is highly beneficial.
