You design embedding and scoring approaches, set match quality bars with real data, tune thresholds, and catch the pairs that score well but make no sense to a human reviewer.
You'll be a strong fit if you:
- Have built or improved matching, entity resolution, or recommendation systems in production
- Know how to evaluate match quality with labeled pairs and offline tests
- Have tied matching changes to live outcomes like accepted matches, conversions, or fewer duplicates
- Can explain precision and recall tradeoffs clearly to product and business teams
Bonus if you've worked in regulated industries, or across on-prem and multi-cloud stacks without favoring a vendor.
