About the Team
Our team focuses on merchant acquisition, business growth, and expanding Paytm’s payment solutions across the assigned territory. We work closely with merchants to understand their needs, drive adoption of Swipe Machines (EDC), and build strong, long-term relationships while achieving business targets.
What You’ll Own :
Drive EDC/POS machine sales and merchant acquisition across the assigned territory.
Build, hire and manage a high-performing field sales team.
Set clear targets, allocate responsibilities and drive timely execution.
Monitor daily/weekly performance and track key sales metrics.
Drive merchant engagement, activation and retention.
Resolve merchant queries and ensure a strong merchant experience.
Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching and on-ground training.
Identify performance gaps and implement improvement plans.
Motivate, recognize and reward high-performing team members
Handle team concerns, conflicts and feedback effectively.
