Role Description As a Sisense Developer at DVK Analytics, you will work full time in a remote capacity to design, build, and optimize Sisense-based analytics solutions for a diverse set of clients. You will develop and maintain data models, create interactive dashboards, and implement custom widgets, plugins, and scripts to extend Sisense functionality. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include collaborating with BI consultants and stakeholders to gather requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications, and ensuring dashboards are performant, accurate, and user-friendly. You will troubleshoot data and performance issues, optimize queries, and support integrations with various data sources and AI-driven features. The role also involves preparing documentation, participating in code reviews, and contributing to best practices and standards for Sisense development within the organization.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Sisense development, including data modeling, dashboard creation, and customization with Sisense plugins or scripts.
Experience with SQL and relational databases, and familiarity with data warehousing or ETL processes.
Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages commonly used with BI tools (such as JavaScript, Python, or similar).
Background in business intelligence, analytics, or reporting, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Comfort working with cloud-based environments and integrating multiple data sources and APIs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to data accuracy, performance, and user experience.
Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional, remote teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in industries such as Retail, Renewable Energy, Healthcare, or E-commerce is a plus.
Familiarity with AI-driven analytics, natural-language query tools, or advanced BI features is an advantage.
