Role Description This full-time remote Generative AI Engineer role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying AI-driven solutions that enhance analytics experiences on Sisense and related platforms. The engineer will build and refine generative AI models, integrate natural-language interfaces, and create plugins that improve data exploration, insights generation, and user workflows. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with BI consultants and product teams, translating business requirements into technical AI solutions, and optimizing model performance, reliability, and scalability. The role also involves maintaining and improving existing AI capabilities, documenting technical designs, and contributing to best practices for AI safety, security, and responsible use. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure solutions are robust, user-friendly, and aligned with client needs.
Qualifications
Strong skills in machine learning and deep learning, including experience with generative AI models (e.g., LLMs, transformers, diffusion models).
Proficiency in programming and engineering practices, such as Python development, API integration, and building scalable, production-grade services.
Experience with data and analytics ecosystems, including BI tools (preferably Sisense), data modeling, and working with structured and unstructured data.
Knowledge of cloud platforms and MLOps practices, including model deployment, monitoring, performance tuning, and version control.
Ability to design user-centric AI solutions, such as natural-language query interfaces, recommendation systems, and interactive dashboard enhancements.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in AI ethics, responsible AI practices, and data privacy considerations is highly beneficial.
Background in analytics or experience working with enterprise clients across industries such as Retail, Healthcare, Energy, or E-commerce is a plus.
