What You’ll Be Doing: Writing and gathering fresh, original news stories for print and digital publication.
Key Responsibilities:
Building positive relationships with key people and organisations
Breaking exciting news stories and creating engaging content
Contributing to news planning meetings and working closely with the Northern Papers Editor
Interviewing and photographing subjects with confidence and professionalism
Representing our company in a positive, professional manner
What You Bring:
A genuine interest in local news, sport, and photography
Familiarity with digital platforms and social media
A strong team player who is eager to learn and collaborate
Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines
A valid driver’s license
