Senior Manager — SAP Master Data Management Lead

Qualifications
Required
15+ years in enterprise master data management, with at least 8 years in SAP master data and 5+ years leading global teams.
Deep hands-on SAP MDG expertise across multiple domains — data modeling, workflow, BRF+, DRF replication, and consolidation and mass processing.
Proven master data leadership on at least two global S/4HANA programs, including harmonization across heterogeneous legacy ERPs.
Heavy industry line-of-business experience is required — manufacturing, industrial equipment, water, energy, process, or engineered products. Specifically, demonstrated command of material master complexity across engineering and manufacturing views, multi-level BOMs and routings, variant and configurable products, spare and service parts catalogs, equipment and functional location hierarchies, and plant-level data
Demonstrated ownership of a governance model that survived contact with the business — named owners, operating cadence, enforced standards, and published KPIs
Strong functional understanding of how master data drives downstream process outcomes in planning, procurement, manufacturing, service, and finance
Experience with data quality tooling, profiling, and remediation at scale
Executive presence to arbitrate harmonization disputes between segment leaders and make the standardization call stick.
Preferred
SAP Datasphere, Signavio process mining, or comparable analytics used to expose data-driven process failure.
Master data implications of installed-base and aftermarket service models.
Experience onboarding acquisitions onto a common master data standard.
Classification, taxonomy, and catalog management for large materials portfolios.
Familiarity with regulatory and trade compliance data requirements in an industrial context.
