Coordinator of Volunteer

Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteer is a part-time, hybrid role based in Pune City, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and coordinating volunteers to support Scale Treasury Inc.’s educational programs, events, and community initiatives. Day-to-day activities include organizing volunteer schedules, maintaining accurate volunteer records, and ensuring clear communication of responsibilities and expectations. The Coordinator will design and deliver volunteer training sessions, provide ongoing guidance and support, and help foster a collaborative and inclusive volunteer culture. The role also involves assisting with community outreach efforts, gathering feedback to improve volunteer experiences, and collaborating with internal teams to align volunteer activities with organizational goals.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training skills to effectively recruit, onboard, and support volunteers.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills to engage volunteers, staff, and community partners in a professional and inclusive manner.
Candidates should possess experience in Community Outreach and relationship building to support program visibility and engagement.
Candidates should have strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in scheduling and record-keeping.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a hybrid environment in Pune City, with proficiency in basic office and collaboration tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, video conferencing).
Prior experience coordinating volunteers, working in education, non-profit, or professional development settings is beneficial.
Relevant education in social work, management, communications, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
