What does an API Analyst do at PALO IT?
As an API Analyst at PALO IT, you will:
- Analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications for APIs (endpoints, methods, payloads).
- Design APIs by defining contracts (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) following standards such as OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation to assist internal teams or third parties in integrating services.
- Validate API functionality through functional, load, and security testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Use dashboards to report insights and collaborate during the implementation phase with internal and external teams, ensuring continuous monitoring and improvements based on performance metrics.
What experience do you need for this role?
You're a strong fit for this role if you have:
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
- Proficient in API design and implementation using tools like Mulesoft and AWS.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.
- Certification in Mulesoft.
- Intermediate to advanced level of English.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in cloud integration tools, particularly middleware solutions like Boomie, Software AG, etc.
- Background in the transportation industry.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Mulesoft API Manager, New Relic) and data visualization (Grafana, Kibana).
