AI Native Delivery Manager

We are looking for an AI Native Delivery Manager to lead high-performing, cross-functional AI-native delivery pods across production client engagements. In this role, you will be responsible for orchestrating end-to-end software delivery by leveraging AI-accelerated Software Development Life Cycle (AI SDLC) models, Spec-Driven Development (SDD), and modern AI coding infrastructure.
This role is ideal for experienced Delivery Managers or Engineering Managers with a strong software engineering background who have actively integrated AI tools into their delivery workflows and are passionate about setting new benchmarks for software delivery speed and quality.
The remote work option is available to candidates residing and working within Slovakia.
Responsibilities
Lead AI-Native Pods: Oversee and manage cross-functional engineering pods, ensuring predictable, high-quality delivery across billable client engagements
Champion AI SDLC & SDD: Drive adoption of Spec-Driven Development (SDD) and AI-assisted workflows (coding, testing, architecture, and documentation) to maximize delivery velocity and code quality
Delivery Governance & Execution: Manage backlog execution, track key performance metrics (throughput, lead time, quality gates), and ensure delivery commitments are consistently met
Stakeholder & Architect Alignment: Partner closely with Solution Architects, Product Owners, and Client Delivery Leads to proactively manage scope, identify risks early, and unblock engineering teams
Continuous Feedback & Knowledge Capture: Capture delivery metrics, harvest AI artifacts, spec patterns, and post-engagement insights to continually refine and scale the broader AI delivery ecosystem
Requirements
Engineering Background: Proven background in software engineering (formerly an engineer, tech lead, or hands-on manager) with a solid understanding of modern software architecture and development pipelines
Delivery Leadership: 3+ years of experience as a Delivery Manager or Engineering Manager leading technical teams in agile client engagements
AI Tooling & SDLC Proficiency: Practical experience using AI-accelerated development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) and integrating them into team workflows
Agile & SDD Mastery: Deep understanding of Spec-Driven Development, user story decomposition, prompt engineering for development, and modern CI/CD practices
Outcome & Value Driven: Focused on delivering tangible business value, velocity metrics, and production-ready features rather than tracking vanity activities
Proactive Ownership: Demonstrates strong accountability, surfaces delivery risks early, and effectively bridges technical teams with client stakeholders
Adaptability & Continuous Learning: Passionate about staying ahead of rapid advancements in AI tools, agentic workflows, and emerging delivery paradigms
Communication: Strong English communication skills (B2+/C1 level) with the ability to articulate technical trade-offs and delivery progress to senior leadership and clients
