Childcare Attendant

Childcare Attendant Description
Childcare Attendants are part of the Childcare team, and under the Children's Ministry Department. They provide care for children and babies during weekly ministry events and help them discover and deepen their relationships with Jesus. Childcare Attendants partner with parents and the COTR Kids Ministry team, and report to the Childcare Director.
Key Responsibilities
1. Weekly Ministry Events with Childcare
• Pay attention to childcare schedule and communicate all unavailable dates with Childcare Director
• Arrive 15 minutes early when scheduled to work in childcare
• Stay at least 15 minutes after an event to properly clean & reset childcare areas
• Actively engage with children and participate as part of the childcare team
• Care for parents and children with understanding, maturity, and professionalism
2. Stay Up to Date on All Trainings & Requirements
• Be available for meetings with Childcare Director
• Attend any necessary trainings
Qualifications
• Align with COTR Serve Team Handbook, Employee Handbook, policies,
procedures, & values
• Teachability, Integrity, Initiative, Productivity, Coherency, Humility, Compatibility,
Optimism & Resilience
• Must be 14 years of age or older
• Completed Ascent class, Reducing the Risk, Serve Team Process (background check required if 18 years old or older)
