Facilities Coordinator Job Description
The Facilities Coordinator for the Wasilla Campus helps create a clean, safe, well maintained, organized, and welcoming environment where people can engage in COTR ministries, grow in their walk with God, and experience healthy community. This part-time position (20 hours per week) is responsible for coordinating campus facility needs, maintaining building readiness, and overseeing facility-related tasks and support.
Key Responsibilities
Facilities Coordination
Develop and maintain a proactive maintenance plan for the Wasilla Campus.
Develop maintenance routines for the Wasilla Campus outlining daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly needs.
Perform and coordinate active maintenance at the Wasilla Campus.
Identify larger maintenance needs before they become major issues and communicate anticipated needs and budget requirements with the development of clear and concise proposals to leadership.
Coordinate with contractors, tradespeople, campus staff, and facilities serve team members as needed.
Develop and maintain a list of qualified tradespeople who are willing to donate time or services when appropriate.
Participate in campus meetings, contractor meetings, and meetings with facilities serve team members.
Maintain organized records related to maintenance needs, projects, contractors, and anticipated facility needs.
Work with Wasilla Campus and Central leadership to plan for special events and ministry activities that may affect facility needs.
Facilities Serve Team Development
Develop a facilities serve team for the Wasilla Campus.
Recruit, train, schedule, and communicate with serve team members.
Develop a culture where serve team members pray together, grow in the Lord together, and enjoy life together.
Disciple serve team members and provide a relational bridge between them and campus staff.
Ensure applicable COTR training requirements are completed.

Act with integrity in all public and private dealings on behalf of Church on the Rock (COTR) or otherwise.
Care for Serve Team members in a respectful and Christ-like manner.
Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
Develop leaders and provide leadership in areas of responsibility.
Be discreet and discerning regarding sensitive information to which you may be privy.
Protect the reputation and integrity of others through strict confidentiality and accountability.
Work collaboratively across departments and campuses.
Manage additional responsibilities as assigned and/or agreed upon.
Uphold a strong personal commitment to the mission and values of Church on the Rock.
Qualifications
A born-again believer, baptized, filled with the Holy Spirit, and living under the lordship of Jesus Christ.
Proficiency with or willing to learn tools and platforms such as Church Community Builder (U-Link).
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Current screening form and background check on file.
