Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:
Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
Monitor security systems and surveillance equipment to identify suspicious activity and potential security risks.
Document incidents, observations, and activities through detailed and accurate reporting.
Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, and potential threats.
Conduct routine patrols to maintain the safety and security of the premises.
Manage access control procedures and verify visitor credentials.
Evaluate security systems to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders during critical incidents.
Protect personnel, visitors, and property by maintaining a secure environment.
Required Qualifications of Security Officers:
At least 21 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent
Non-commissioned security license through the state of Texas required!
Strong customer service skills
Familiarity with report writing
Previous Retail Security experience preferred
Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
