About The Role
At this hiring event, L3Harris will meet with experienced engineering and technical professionals for opportunities in Plano, Rockwall, Greenville, and Waco, Texas. Openings span a range of disciplines and experience areas, including systems engineering, software, networks, aerospace, mechanical and electrical engineering, project engineering, integration and test, information security systems engineering, structural engineering, technical writing, and configuration and data management.
Systems engineering opportunities may involve FPGA/GPU, RF signal processing, SIGINT, COMINT, ELINT, datalink, or algorithm development. Specific responsibilities and qualifications will vary by position and program. Candidates who register may be considered for relevant opportunities based on their experience, skills, and eligibility.

Qualifications
Candidates must have a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience and be eligible to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance. Many positions require the ability to obtain a security clearance, which may only be granted to U.S. citizens. Applicants accepting a conditional offer may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet applicable eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Relevant education, technical expertise, and experience will depend on the position. Applicants should be prepared to discuss their engineering or technical background, areas of specialization, project contributions, and interest in supporting customer missions. This event is not for recent or new college graduates.

Depending on the role, selected candidates may contribute to the design, development, analysis, integration, testing, documentation, or ongoing support of advanced systems and technologies. Work may include collaborating across engineering disciplines, resolving technical challenges, managing requirements or configurations, and helping deliver reliable solutions that meet customer and program needs.
Professionals may apply their expertise in areas such as signal processing, embedded or software systems, networks, aerospace, mechanical or electrical design, structural engineering, information security, technical documentation, or program execution. Teams work across connected defense domains in support of mission-critical objectives.
