These systems run under strict regulatory oversight, so every change is deliberate, documented, and reviewed. Role Overview
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will keep regulated banking systems available and compliant, working within formal change-control processes to reduce risk while improving reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Availability & Change Control
Maintain uptime and performance for core banking and transaction systems
Manage change requests through formal approval and audit workflows
Coordinate maintenance windows and releases with minimal customer impact
Monitoring & Compliance
Build monitoring and alerting aligned to regulatory reporting requirements
Maintain audit trails, runbooks, and disaster-recovery documentation
Ideal Candidate Profile
4 to 8 years in site reliability, infrastructure, or production support roles
Strong Linux, networking, and enterprise infrastructure fundamentals
Comfort operating within formal change-management and audit processes
Clear written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated environments
Familiarity with ITIL processes, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
Exposure to mainframe-adjacent or core banking platforms
