Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India, and this seat is one of the centre's founding payroll hires.The cycle you'd ownAs a Payroll Specialist, you run the monthly payroll cycle end to end for a growing India headcount: inputs, processing, statutory deductions, and the queries that land in your inbox once salaries hit.Where it currently breaksCollect and validate monthly payroll inputs from HR, finance, and business teamsProcess payroll runs accurately and on schedule, including new joiners, exits, and revisionsReconcile payroll registers against the general ledger before disbursalResolve employee payroll queries directly, without a long escalation chainCompliance you'd ownEnsure PF, ESI, TDS, and professional tax are calculated and deposited correctly and on timeFile monthly and annual statutory returns, and keep documentation audit-readyTrack changes in payroll-related regulation and update processes accordinglyWhat you'd bringTwo to six years running payroll processing and statutory compliance in India, ideally across a headcount large enough that no two months look the same. You're precise with numbers, comfortable owning a compliance calendar without reminders, and able to explain a payslip discrepancy to an anxious employee without getting defensive.
