Role Description The Senior Frontend Engineer will design, build, and optimize user-facing interfaces that interact with DBByte’s data infrastructure platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing high-quality, responsive web applications, collaborating with designers and backend engineers to implement features, and ensuring accessibility, performance, and security best practices. The role involves translating complex infrastructure concepts into intuitive user experiences, maintaining frontend architecture, and contributing to technical decisions and code reviews. This is a full-time, remote role with cross-functional collaboration across product, engineering, and operations teams.
Qualifications
Strong Front-End Development skills, including modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Vue, or similar).
Experience with Web Development and Responsive Web Design, ensuring consistent experiences across devices and browsers.
Solid foundation in Software Development practices, including testing, version control, and CI/CD workflows.
Understanding of Back-End Web Development concepts and APIs to effectively integrate frontend and backend services.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+), with attention to performance and accessibility.
Experience architecting and maintaining complex frontend codebases in a production environment.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, communicate clearly, and collaborate with distributed teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; experience with cloud or infrastructure platforms is a plus.
