Account Executive

ABOUT THE ROLE
A growing AI-powered recruiting company is hiring an Account Executive to own the full B2B sales cycle, from discovery through close. You will work with the sales development team and help scale the go-to-market motion by turning conversations with founders and hiring leaders into customers.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead discovery calls to understand hiring needs, urgency, and buying processes, then present relevant solutions.
- Advance and close opportunities by addressing objections, negotiating terms, and securing signed agreements.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, follow up consistently, and coordinate clear handoffs to the delivery team.
- Share feedback with the sales development team on meeting quality and ways to improve outreach conversations.
- Bring customer and founder feedback to the team to inform the pitch, pricing, and sales process.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 2 years of experience closing B2B deals as an Account Executive or in a similar full-cycle sales role.
- Experience selling to SMB or startup buyers and leading sales conversations with founders or hiring managers.
- Skill in discovery, objection handling, negotiation, and following through to close.
- Consistent CRM practices and reliable follow-through on sales commitments.
- Experience in recruiting, staffing, or HR services, startup environments, or AI-enabled sales workflows is helpful.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary range: $100,000 to $180,000 annually. Visa sponsorship policy was not provided.
LOCATION
Hybrid, with primary location in Salt Lake City, Utah. The role requires 1 to 2 weeks of in-person onboarding in Salt Lake City, followed by remote or hybrid work. Visits to San Francisco to meet the team are optional.
