Job Purpose
Drive test automation & Performance testing across all applications in IT ecosystem & evaluate new tools for PT, Test Automations & DevOps
To ensure 100% availability of DevOps, Test data, Automation & PT environments
Manage DevOps platform and tools and Application deployment
Manage periodic platform / tools upgrade
Monitor the Backups and review backup policies periodically
To drive governance of DevOps Platform usage and deliveries like AI / RPA implementation, Performance testing & Test Data activity across IT eco-system
Key Responsibilities
Proficiency in test automation frameworks such as Robotic framework using Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, JMeter etc.
Experience with scripting languages like shell script, Python, Java, JMeter or JavaScript for test automation & PT Stubs & CI/CD tools like GIT, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, Meven, Kubernetes & containerization concepts & API / Microservice testing
Leading and managing a team of DevOps SME, architects, Test Automation & Performance Testing architects. Providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to succeed
Ability to automate testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
Understanding of API testing and tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
Strong advocate of Standardization, quality, responsible to act as SME for application modernization/transformation programs
Fostering collaboration and communication between development, operations, and other cross-functional teams. Acting as a bridge between different teams to ensure alignment on goals, priorities, and processes.
Strong experience in evaluating tools capabilities, implementing same across IT functions for business benefits and E2E tracking of delivery (Agile/waterfall projects)
Technical/ Functional Competencies
Industry Certification in required tools, DevOps, (AI/RPA) and coding languages
Good stakeholder-management skills to interface with business users
AI/GenAI Ops, Testing and Digital Ecosystem Capability
Agile and BSS Change Request Testing Practices
Open Source and Test Optimisation
