About The Role
As a Senior Android Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain native Android applications, including software that communicates with Bluetooth devices. You will use Kotlin and Java to deliver scalable, responsive features and help shape the technical foundations of the applications. Your work will include collaborating on full-stack application design, contributing to API requirements and user interface wireframes, and applying established Android and material design guidelines. You will help ensure that the product feels intuitive and consistent while supporting its unique brand identity.
This position calls for more than feature implementation. You will contribute to architecture decisions, maintainable code practices, and testing strategies. You will work constructively with a collaborative team, communicate decisions clearly, and use empathy and sound judgment to address technical and user needs.
Qualifications
Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience in Android application development, including professional experience building native applications and integrating Bluetooth devices with mobile software. Significant experience developing with Kotlin and working knowledge of Java are required. You should be familiar with Android Studio and mobile development tools; experience with Xcode is also listed as a desired capability.
You should bring strong software architecture experience and practical knowledge of patterns such as MVP, Clean Architecture, and MVVM. Experience creating repositories and factories, understanding dependency injection, and implementing Dagger is important. Candidates should be comfortable writing test scripts and working with RESTful APIs and mobile networking libraries. A clear, solutions-oriented communication style and a passion for code quality are essential. Experience with application architecture, API design, UI wireframing, and material design principles is expected. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.

Integrate RESTful services using appropriate networking libraries, participate in API design, and collaborate on user interface wireframes. Write and maintain test scripts, investigate issues, and help improve product reliability. Work closely with teammates, communicate progress and technical considerations, and apply Android and material design guidance while respecting the product’s visual identity.
