Job Summary:
The Corporate Communications Officer is responsible for managing and protecting the PBIS brand across all corporate communications — including stakeholder relations, press and media, CEO branding, and external partner communications.
This role operates at a strategic level within the Corporate & Communications function, ensuring that PBIS's institutional voice, brand positioning, and executive communications are consistently professional, on-brand, and aligned with the school's values and long-term reputation.
Corporate Communications and Brand Management
Develop and maintain consistent corporate messaging reflecting PBIS's values, brand identity, and institutional positioning across all channels.
Own the PBIS brand voice at the corporate level — ensuring all communications are accurate, professional, and on-brand before release.
Review and approve all outgoing corporate communications: parent announcements, official letters, press statements, and corporate digital content.
Ensure brand consistency across all school communications — digital, print, events, and correspondence.
Coordinate internal communications: school newsletters, school announcements, and internal updates.
CEO and Executive Branding
Lead in the CEO's professional brand — drafting speeches, statements, executive correspondence, presentation and thought leadership content.
Ensure all CEO communications are aligned with PBIS's institutional voice, values, and strategic priorities.
Manage and curate the CEO's LinkedIn and relevant executive digital presence where applicable.
Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and talking points for CEO engagements with external stakeholders.
Press and Media Relations
Serve as the primary point of contact for press and media enquiries — managing all media relationships professionally and responsively.
Draft and distribute press releases, media statements, and school announcements to relevant outlets.
Monitor media coverage of PBIS and the broader international education landscape; flag significant coverage to the Corporate & Communications Manager.
Develop and maintain a media contacts database: journalists, editors, and community media partners.
Stakeholder Relations and Partnership Communication
Build and maintain professional relationships with key external stakeholders: embassies, corporate partners, community organisations, universities, and government contacts.
Draft and manage all formal correspondence with external partners.
Act as the day-to-day liaison between the school and the External Marketing and Communications Consultant.
Coordinate communication and promotional materials related to partnerships and collaborative initiatives.
Corporate Sponsorship & Partnerships
Identify and develop potential corporate sponsorship and partnership opportunities aligned with the school’s strategic objectives and brand.
Prepare and manage sponsorship proposals, packages, agreements, and communication materials.
Coordinate sponsor relationships and benefits, ensuring agreed branding, visibility, and recognition are delivered appropriately.
Maintain and evaluate partnerships, including records, outcomes, sponsor satisfaction, and opportunities for long-term collaboration.
Safeguarding, Quality, and Compliance and International Academic Partnership
Ensure all corporate communications comply with PBIS safeguarding, child protection, and data protection policies.
Ensure appropriate consent is in place for the use of student images, names, and work in all external communications.
Provide regular updates to the Corporate & Communications Manager on communications activity.

Proven experience in corporate communications, PR, or brand management — preferably in an educational context.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Lao and Thai language skills are an advantage.
Experience in stakeholder relationship management and executive-level communications.
Experience in an international school or British curriculum environment is desirable.
