Product Manager - Solar, Battery and Optimisation

At Zelora/Intellihub, we're building innovative behind-the-meter energy solutions that empower customers to generate, store and optimise their energy usage. As we expand our newly established Behind the Meter (BtM) business, we're looking for an experienced Product Manager – Solar, Battery & Optimisation to lead the growth of our solar, battery, optimisation and Virtual Power Plant (VPP) offerings.
This is a unique opportunity to influence the future of distributed energy, working at the intersection of renewable technology, customer experience, and commercial innovation.
Key responsibilities include:
Own the strategy, roadmap and lifecycle of our solar, battery and optimisation products
Drive the development of innovative customer solutions, including VPP and financing offerings
Identify market opportunities through customer insights, competitor analysis and industry trends
Build compelling business cases for new products and enhancements
Lead product launches and go-to-market initiatives with Sales and Marketing teams
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to bring new capabilities to market
Act as the product expert, championing customer needs and delivering exceptional outcomes
What you'll bring to the role:
Demonstrated experience in product management, ideally within energy, technology or consumer products
Strong commercial acumen with experience developing business cases and financial models
Understanding of solar, battery, energy optimisation, smart home or distributed energy solutions
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives
Strategic thinker with a customer-first mindset and a passion for innovation
Excellent communication and presentation skills
