You will keep production databases available, secure, and performant as the centre scales from a founding team into a full-fledged GCC. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.Role OverviewAs a Database Administrator, you will own the health of production and non-production databases — from provisioning and performance tuning to backups, security, and disaster recovery — for systems the wider GCC depends on.Key ResponsibilitiesDatabase Administration & PerformanceInstall, configure, and maintain relational and NoSQL databases across environmentsMonitor performance, tune queries and indexes, and resolve bottlenecks proactivelyManage capacity planning, storage, and scaling as data volumes growBackup, Recovery & SecurityDesign and test backup, replication, and disaster-recovery proceduresEnforce access controls, encryption, and data-security standardsMaintain patching cadence and vulnerability remediation for database systemsIdeal Candidate Profile3 to 8 years as a Database Administrator or in database engineering rolesHands-on expertise with SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL in production environmentsStrong troubleshooting skills across performance, availability, and security incidentsClear written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setupPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting a GCC, shared-services centre, or large enterprise IT functionFamiliarity with cloud-managed database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or GCP Cloud SQL)A degree in computer science, information systems, or a related fieldWhat We OfferA core database-administration seat inside a Fortune 200 company's India GCCRemote-friendly, pan-India hiring with long-term placementExposure to enterprise-scale data infrastructure from day oneOne application considered for this and future matched rolesHiring ProcessHR Screening → Technical Assessment → Hiring Manager Round → Culture Fit
