The opportunity
We are looking for an Executive Analyst to join our growing Public Sector Advisory team in Brisbane and help solve complex challenges that matter.
You will work across fast paced and varied advisory engagements, helping government clients navigate complex decisions spanning strategy, policy, transformation, organisational design, program evaluation and economics. Working closely with experienced practitioners, senior leaders and government decision makers, you will be exposed to challenging problems and have the opportunity to contribute meaningful thinking from the outset.
As our practice grows, you will have the opportunity to broaden your experience, take on greater responsibility and help shape an expanding team.
We are looking for curious, commercially minded people who enjoy making sense of complexity, challenging conventional thinking and turning analysis into practical outcomes.
In this role you will:
Analyse qualitative and quantitative information to identify patterns, test assumptions and develop evidence-based insights.
Deliver high-quality reports, presentations, business cases, evaluations, operating models and other client-ready materials.
Support stakeholder interviews, workshops and consultation activities, communicating confidently with government clients, senior stakeholders and project teams.
Take responsibility for defined project tasks and smaller work components, managing priorities and escalating risks or issues early.
Contribute practical ideas to proposals, research, knowledge development and improvements to how we work.
Use data, technology and AI tools appropriately to improve the quality, efficiency and clarity of our work.
Support Analysts and new team members through knowledge sharing, practical guidance and constructive feedback.

A relevant tertiary qualification in economics, business, commerce, finance, international relations, politics, public policy or another relevant discipline.

A proactive, practical and solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to take ownership of defined tasks.
A genuine passion for the public sector and an interest in helping government organisations improve outcomes for communities.
