The Supplier Onboarding Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end supplier onboarding process, ensuring suppliers are accurately registered, validated, approved, and enabled within procurement and payment systems. This role works closely with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure compliance, data accuracy, and a seamless onboarding experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage supplier onboarding requests from initiation through activation.
Review and validate supplier information, including company details, tax documents, banking information, and supporting documentation.
Coordinate with suppliers to resolve registration issues, missing information, and onboarding exceptions.
Monitor onboarding queues and ensure timely completion of approvals and validations.
Partner with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Risk, Compliance, and Business stakeholders to facilitate supplier setup and maintenance.
Support supplier communications, enablement activities, and onboarding training initiatives.
Investigate and resolve onboarding, supplier master data, and system-related issues.
Maintain onboarding documentation, SOPs, and process controls while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Reporting, developing KPI’s, internal metrics
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in Supplier Management, Procurement Operations, Source-to-Pay (S2P), Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
Experience working with procurement and ERP platforms such as SAP, Ariba, GEP, Coupa, Oracle, or equivalent.
Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
