It is developing a comprehensive AI-enhanced data and analytics platform to unify these disparate data sources into a single, reliable source of truth. About the Opportunity:
The ANALYTICS ENGINEER role is central to transforming raw data into actionable models, metrics, and dashboards. This position involves direct collaboration with stakeholders to clarify ambiguous problems and deliver meaningful data solutions. The role significantly contributes by ensuring data trustworthiness, governance, and accessibility, enabling informed decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain tested and documented data models using dbt in Snowflake.
Collaborate with teams to understand goals and refine data requests into valuable insights.
Develop dashboards and self-serve datasets to empower teams with data.
Define and uphold metric and data governance standards.
Implement testing, monitoring, and alerting to maintain data quality.
Work with data engineering on data ingestion and warehouse performance.
Employ software engineering best practices including Git and code review.
Integrate AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency.
Contribute to the development of analytics best practices and documentation.
Requirements:
3 to 5 years experience in analytics or data engineering.
Proficient in SQL, including complex queries.
Practical experience with dbt and cloud data warehouses, preferably Snowflake.
Python skills for data processes and automation.
Experience with modern BI tools and ability to learn new ones swiftly.
Strong stakeholder communication and problem definition skills.
Understanding of business operations to build effective data solutions.
Familiarity with metric and data governance, and observability practices.
Experienced with Git workflows.
Competent in integrating AI tools into daily tasks with sound judgment.
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment requiring process development.
Preferred: experience with ingestion/orchestration tools, semantic layers, and command-line proficiency.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Base salary range will be determined based on candidate experience, skills, qualifications, and work location.
